Ok, so a man walks into a talent agent's office.
He walks up to the desk, takes his hat in hand and says emphatically, "Sir, do I have an act for you."
The agent tries to explain that his time is very valuable and that he doesn't have time to talk to everyone who comes through. His pen is still in hand.
"It'll only be a minute of your time," pleads the man. "I've got a great family act that will blow you away." The agent puts down his pen, puts his hands together and interlocks his fingers.
The man launches into his explanation of the stage show.
A single light fades in from above. It shines down on a man standing beneath a lamppost. The man is wearing an overcoat and glancing around nervously. He takes out a cigarette and, hands shaking, lights it.
A young hispanic man wearing a red bandana enters. A cigarette is behind his ear. He approaches the lamppost and asks the gentleman for a light, which the man provides, hands shaking. The youth thanks the man in the coat and inquires as to the nature of the gentleman's tremors. The man reveals that he has a mild form of Parkinson's disease and it is not out of fear, as an observer might have assumed.
The hispanic youth offers his sympathies and mentions that his aunt, who had Parkinson's, knew a very good counselor who could assist the gentleman and his family. The man in the coat accepts this offer and the two exchange phone numbers with a promise to contact each other soon. As the young man exits, the lights dim.
That's it.
The agent doesn't quite know what to say. So he asks the name of the act.
"Well it isn't titled as of yet. I'm thinking... The Socialites."
